 Bandwagon

•  Blank Gameweek (BGW): Having fewer than the usual ten games in a gameweek is known as a blank gameweek.

 Burner slots

These are positions that are given up so that managers can focus more of their resources on other initiatives. These players are the cheapest available on the fantasy cricket app and in the position and are unlikely to play any minutes. 

 Burning a transfer

When players have five free transfers but cannot use any of them, they are deemed to have “burned a transfer.” This implies that the transfer is now lost and will not be used again.Dead-ending: Managers often “dead-end” their teams in the run-up to a Wildcard. This helps to bring focus on players who are sold on Wildcard right away and whom you would not want to hold for the long run, most likely due to their Double Gameweek or lack of blank.

 Effective ownership

 The percentage of teams that start a player plus the number of teams that capitulate him is known as Effective Ownership or EO. If a player with a high Effective Ownership returns and you do not own them, your overall rank will be lowered. Your rank will benefit if you own players with low effective ownership and they come back.

•  Free Agent: Those players who are not owned by any team.
•  The Fixture Difficulty Rating: FDR rating is a number that indicates how challenging a premier league match is. The FDR will be used by FPL managers to target favorable fixture runs and plan transfers. 
•  Grinders: These are the players who participate in cash games and play to earn profits.

 Out of position

When a premier league player plays in a position for which they are categorized in the FPL. An out-of-position defender is ideal for FPL managers since they yield clean sheet points while also increasing the possibility of attacking returns, for example.

 Rank killer

A player who is highly owned in the game and returns a lot of FPL points but is not owned by an FPL manager is referred to as a rank killer because they allow other managers to score points with a player they do not own. 

•  Set and forget: When managers add players to their FPL teams, they never take them off.
•  Template: An FPL team with a large number of highly-regarded players. The players who score the most points during the season and are trusted by FPL managers to return each week are typically the template picks. 
•  Underlying statistics: The information that FPL managers use to inform their judgments. Along with predicted metrics (xG, xA, xGC, xGI), the quantity of shots, and the ICT Index, it can also contain goals, assists, and clean sheets. 
•  Wildcard: Between two Gameweek deadlines, managers can make as many changes to their team as they like with the FPL’s Wildcard chip. Each season, managers can use two Wildcards.
